How long will I receive worker's compensation?

Under worker's comp law you r entitled to temporary and permanent benefits. They change when you reach maximum medical improvement as determined by your doctor. He will then issue an impairment rating and/or work restrictions.

Your temporary benefits are your checks, your mileage, your prescriptions, and the medical care. When you reach Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI), then you are you entitled to permanent benefits.

We can only evaluate your case when you reach MMI. You have a limitation of 450 weeks on benefits that worker's comp has to pay. Their responsibility for medical care last forever in theory.
