What will I receive?

Your worker's comp case is measured on two parts.

The first part is the medical. The worker's comp insurance company has to pay for the medical care you need for your work injury, theoretically forever, but it can be "timed out." We'll talk about that when you come in.

The other part of the case is the money part: money they pay, to you, for how the injury effects your ability to work. This can be figured two different ways. For arm injuries, leg injuries, fingers and so forth, under worker's comp laws you can up to a certain number of weeks of compensation based upon how the injury effects you ability to do your usual work. On the other hand, for neck and back injuries or other types where you have lost wage earning capacity you get your pre-injury wages minus your post injury wage earning capacity, two thirds of the difference for a maximum of 450 weeks.

We will go through these calculations towards the end of your case.
